Long-term Soundscape Monitoring in Mt. Makiling Forest Reserve

The Makiling Botanic Gardens is a world-class educational facility and a regional biodiversity conservation area. It occupies 300 hectares of secondary forest land distributed into three main sections composed of the Arboretum, Nursery, and Recreational Areas. It serves as a living collection, a repository and sanctuary of endemic and endangered plant species of the Philippines. It features a dipterocarp forest and nature trails, as well as the Molawin and Marulas creeks.
